  • Scotts Outdoor Maintenance offers professional, reliable exterior maintenance to keep your property looking its best and remove the stress of outdoor upkeep. Our core services include thorough gutter and eavestrough cleaning and expert gutter repairs to prevent water damage, ice dams, and foundation problems. We clear debris, flush downspouts, check fasteners and seal joints, and repair or replace damaged sections so rainwater flows safely away from your home.

We also provide soffit and fascia repairs to protect roof edges, improve ventilation, and restore your home’s curb appeal. Our team replaces rotten or damaged boards, seals gaps, and restores flashing and trim to keep pests and moisture out and prolong roof lifespan.

Beyond roofline work, our exterior services include routine lawn care — mowing, edging, trimming, and seasonal cleanups — to maintain a neat, healthy yard year-round. For flower gardening, we design, install and maintain beds, plantings and mulching to enhance colour and visual appeal while selecting suitable plants for local climate and soil.

For decks and exterior hard surfaces, we offer professional washing and soft-wash treatments to remove dirt, mildew and algae, restoring wood and composite surfaces and preparing them for sealing or staining if desired.

Scotts Outdoor Maintenance combines skilled workmanship, proper equipment and seasonal expertise so you can leave outdoor maintenance to us and enjoy a well‑maintained, protected and attractive property.

  • Gutter cleaning isn’t optional — it’s essential. Gutters clogged with leaves, needles, seeds and debris cause water to overflow, damage fascia and soffits, encourage mold, attract pests, and can even undermine foundations. How often you should book professional cleaning depends on your property and surroundings — especially trees.

    Recommended schedule:

    • Homes with heavy tree cover (many deciduous trees or conifers close to the roof): TWO times per year. during the Spring and Fall. This will keep needles, leaves and seed pods from building up and causing ice dams.

    • Homes with moderate tree coverage: at least ONCE a year in the — spring or fall — to remove seasonal leaf drop and spring pollen/moss.

    • Homes with little to no nearby trees or recent gutter guards: ONCE a year, ideally in the fall to clear seasonal debris before winter freeze.

Why living near trees changes everything:

    • Constant shedding: Maple, poplar and birch produce large volumes of leaves; spruce and pine shed needles year-round. This creates continuous accumulation that clogs downspouts and promotes rot.

    • Organic buildup compacts: Wet leaves and needles mat together, creating a soil-like layer that supports moss and plant growth — heavier, harder to clear and more likely to trap moisture against your roofline.

    • Faster blockages after storms: Wind and heavy rain
